This booklet provides information on the architecture, interior and exterior building environments, fittings and energy saving technologies that is implemented in the Energy Commission\'s Head Office in Putrajaya, also known as the Diamond Building. With an average Building Energy Index (BEI) of 65 kWh/m² per year, which has a savings around 2,029 MWh/year or equivalent to an avoidance of 1,388 metric tonnes of yearly CO² emissions, the Diamond Building is one of the most environmentally sustainable buildings in Malaysia.
